Crossing a bridge can be scary when you’re unsure of what’s on the other side. If you’re lucky things will turn out better than you imagined. I hopped on a train to a country I had never been to, where I knew no one, and where the weather was expected to be miserable. Instead, I ended up in a city that was soaking up the sun instead of being soaked by rain; a city where I was not alone but had a great hostess.
